Audiences can enjoy some important moments of her life in the movie, ranging from her classic outfits in concerts to her devotion in charity.

Life was hard for her when she was a little girl. The 4-year-old Anita Mui Yim-fong and her 8-year-old sister Ann Mui Oi-fong had to sing at an amusement park to supplement the family income. Their father died early, and their mother raised four children alone.
In 1982, Anita Mui Yim-fong, who was only 19, kicked off her career by winning a singing contest in Hong Kong. Since then, every one of her albums became a real hit and her classic songs in the 1980s symbolized the awakening of feminine consciousness.

She was dubbed as "the Madonna of East" with her avant-garde costumes, constantly changing images and bold stage performances.

Ill as she was, she took the lead to organize a grand charity concert in Hong Kong with attendance of numerous singers, to raise money for SARS patients and SARS-affected families.
About one month and a half before her death, she had eight farewell concerts in Hong Kong for her beloved fans, and was dressed up in a fantastic wedding dress onstage, because she wanted to "marry the stage, and marry her fans". At 2: 50 am, Dec 30, 2003, the 40-year-old Canto-pop diva died of lung failure caused by cervical cancer in a Hong Kong hospital.

如何評價梅艷芳呢?也許用她和張國榮合唱的《芳華絕代》的台詞來形容更合適。
